ADCA Race 12, 01 June 2013

Race 12 closes the 2012-2013 ADCA Commodore's Cup season.  8 boats showed up at the start which took place in light winds from the North West.  The course was up to U-3 and back.  A Parker 21 joined the fleet.  Idefix did a good start and stayed to the right of the race course up to U-3.  Approaching the mark the wind strength increased gradually.  The wind made up for fantastic sailing conditions in about 30C of temperature.  It was then a spinnaker run from U-3 to the finish.  Idefix V finished 48 seconds ahead of Unwind in corrected time winning the Commodore's Cup 2012-2013 by 1 point.  This year the competition proved to be very tight.
